Snowy River Acquires Geelong Caravans
Snowy River Caravans has announced the acquisition of Geelong Caravans, marking a strategic move into Victoria’s southwest as the brand celebrates 10 years in market and continues its rapid national expansion.
The Newcomb-based dealership, located on the Bellarine Highway, has been a mainstay of the region’s caravan scene for nearly 50 years. It currently sells brands including Avan, Olympic, and Victory, and will continue to do so throughout May 2025. From June, the site will transition into a dedicated Snowy River Caravans dealership and service centre.
Snowy River Caravans CEO Andrew Crank said Geelong had long been identified as a key growth opportunity.
“Geelong has been on our radar for years,” Crank said. “This acquisition allows us to deliver our products and services to a thriving community that appreciates quality and value in equal measure.”
The move also reinforces the brand’s commitment to existing Geelong Caravans customers, with Crank pledging to uphold warranty and service support while expanding the site’s repair and service capabilities.
“We’re proud to carry forward the customer-first legacy built by Robert Lillee and his team, while expanding the site’s capacity to meet the growing demand for service and support.”
The announcement follows a string of major developments for the brand, including the official opening of Snowy Newcastle last week and the upcoming launch of Snowy Tasmania. With 15 locations now established and more on the way, Snowy River continues to build on its momentum as one of Australia’s best-selling RV brands.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025, Snowy River is also riding high off the back of several product launches, including the SRV campervan range and new SRH hybrid caravans. The growing lineup reflects the brand’s evolving focus on accessibility, innovation, and nationwide support.
