NewGen Caravans have constructed a customer-focused range of durable and affordable caravans with
over 15 models, having something for everyone.

NewGen Caravans have been manufacturing caravans for travelers in Australia since 2019. The range is
full off-road, so the vans can be towed on-road, on dirt and unmarked tracks.

The team purifies caravan design by consulting season caravanners during the design process, where the
focus is always on the quality of the van.

NewGen Caravans start with a chassis made of Duragal rectangular hollow sections with an extended Aframe, then painted using an organic zinc-rich silver metallic.

The vans use Australian-engineered independent suspensions fitted with heavy-duty shock absorber
components and springs from Pedder’s TrakRyder 4x4.

The frame of the van is constructed as a sandwich panel consisting of chequer plate, exterior and
interior fiberglass, an aluminum frame and high density XPS foam which prevents gaps for potential
water ingress.

Aside from strength, lightness and durability, the fiberglass walls give a smooth and easily washable
surface, ideal for effortless cleaning.

All models in the NewGen range contain fully equipped kitchens, a toilet and shower. On the exterior is
a front toolbox and tunnel boot, giving owners the option of having an outdoor fridge and kitchen.

The furniture is made from high-quality solid plywood, not MDF. The panels and doors are glued and
screwed together and laminated with acrylic material that can be custom chosen from a variety of
colours and styles.

The life source of NewGen Caravans is the 12V and 240V electrical systems, all fitted with Projecta
management systems, including the fuse box, solar controller, battery charger, water pump switch, hot
water cut-off and primary load. The vans come fitted with solar and there’s the option to add extra solar
and batteries.

On the hitch, NewGen uses a DO35 for safer towing to minimise the risk of rolling the tow vehicle. The
vans are built with weight distribution. Should a towing issue occur, the emergency breakaway system
immediately applies the brakes to bring the van to a standstill.

NewGen gives the option of fitting the van with electronic stability control (ESC). Other safety inclusions
consist of the fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, and equipment to shut-off switches.

The caravans are supported with a five-year structural and two-year manufacturer warranty. All vans
have a transferable warranty to improve resale value and give peace of mind to the second buyer.

As a company, NewGen has experienced rapid growth. From the first launch in 2019 of the first
composite-built range with three on-road models to choose from, there are now 15 off-road models.

Initially the vans were exclusively supplied to Queensland Caravan Clearance Centre in Gympie from the
factory in Victoria. However, over the past year NewGen has opened a dealership in Morisset, called
NewGen Caravans NSW. NewGen has further expanded by supplying vans to Regent RV Toowoomba
The Caravan Hub, and Regent RV Traralgon.

Within the local community NewGen has been seen on stage as a major sponsor at the Gympie Music
Muster and Savannah in the Round, offering a free caravan to be won at the Muster

Looking to give caravanners freedom of choice, NewGen’s vans range from 13-foot single-axle with 2-
foot increments to an 18-foot van; then a dual-axle from the 19-foot vans till the 23-foot model. Of
which, NewGen’s have rear door, slide-out, and family van options with bunks.
