Ezytrail Ceduna 15 Review (MK2)
The world of off-road-capable caravans just keeps getting better, especially with the efforts of companies like Ezytrail, which are devoted to continual improvement and refinement. The Ceduna 15 MK11 is an off-road capable, full height caravan that has a King-size bed, two bunks, a full ensuite, plus internal and external kitchens in a compact 15’ body shell – Whodathunk?
The Ceduna concept is basically a full-height version of the popular pop-top Parkes 15, with the new MK2 model building on a very successful base. It will most certainly open up a world of opportunities, enticing you to break away from the humdrum of mundane life and take the family out to explore our great land.
Ezy Self Sufficient Camping

She’s a very simple unit to assemble; in fact, it only takes minutes to create a complete base full of life’s comforts and necessities. Simply pull out the bed extension and make the bed, roll out the awning, pull out the kitchen, and you’ll be relaxing in a camp chair in no time. Now that’s my kind of camping!
Ezytrail has taken a giant leap in the world of off-road adventure through its engineering development. The foundations of the unit are the 120x50x3mm Q345 galvanised steel tube chassis and drawbar, which have been engineer-certified as compliant to F5 ADR 62/02 for off-road use, meaning they are manufactured to a factor of 5 times stronger than the minimum recommended. This allows Ezytrail to offer a Lifetime Warranty for total peace of mind.
Ezyrider Off Road Caravan Independent Suspension

The Ceduna rides on a very strong Ezyrider adjustable independent suspension with twin shock absorbers and coil springs on each axle set to maximise the ride with vertical actuation. The swing arms are manufactured from 5mm Q345 steel tube with a powder-coated finish for abrasion resistance. It incorporates 12” electric brakes with breakaways and rides on 265/70R17 off-road tyres, paired with attractive 6-stud 17” alloy wheels, and is pulled by a 3.5 Tonne Alko off-road hitch.
I like seeing campers/caravans with aluminium RHS frames to the main body, it is strong, lightweight and will never rot. Yes, it may be subject to corrosion if not properly constructed without conflicting fastenings, but I am confident that the Ceduna will outlast those with timber frames. They utilise an insulated composite panel for all the cladding and complete the external construction with alloy checker plate skirts as wear plates for tight tracks, impact and abrasion resistance.
Weighty Off-Road Tourer

You simply can’t build a caravan that has the inherent strength with the vast amount of accessories and features of the Ceduna without expecting to tow some reasonable weight. Our demonstration unit weighed a considerable 2380kg Tare (dry) and was quoted at 3000kg ATM, which you will need to accommodate water tanks, gas bottles, a fridge filled, plus all your travel goods and accessories. When you add up the weight of twin shrouded 120 litre poly water tanks, contribute to the 67 litre stainless steel grey water tank, fit 3x 100Ah deep cycle AGM batteries, fill twin 9kg gas bottles, load the Truma 14l gas/electric hot water system and then pack the optional EVAKool 95 litre portable compressor fridge that lives in its own vented compartment in the front of the body shell you will be pushing weight limit especially with mid-range four wheel drives.

Out on the drawbar, we find all the usual towing components, including a handbrake and a premium ARK XO dual jockey wheel. There’s an attractive toolbox with twin containers for the gas bottles and a centre section for quick access to all the gear you need on the road, or two jerry cans. All up, she’s relatively compact, with an overall length of 6650 mm, a width of 2200 mm, and a height of 3050 mm. If height is a problem, take a look at her sister unit, the Parkes 15, with its pop-up lid.
Ezy Folding Bed Extension

The Ezytrail MK11 has undergone significant improvements, particularly with the pull-out back, which is now a breeze to operate. The twin spare wheel mounts feature well-weighted gas struts, making it easy to access the folding bed extension. Ezytrail has also addressed previous issues by lifting the rear window height, ensuring that pillows fit comfortably without obstructing the internal awnings.
Some notable features of the Ezytrail Ceduna MK11 include:
-
Ample Storage: Multiple compartment storage, double panel insulated windows with blinds and flyscreens, and lockable water fillers
-
Modern Amenities: 240V and 12V power, full-length awning, internal and external speakers, and a CD/DVD/USB entertainment system
-
Outdoor Living: Fold-down picnic table, illuminated entry handle, and a range of external lighting options
-
External Kitchen: A pull-out stainless steel unit featuring a four-burner gas stove, sink with hot/cold water, wind deflectors, drainage racks, and utility drawers.

The external kitchen is a standout feature, providing a convenient and spacious cooking area that's perfect for outdoor adventures. With its impressive array of features and upgrades, the Ezytrail MK11 is an excellent choice for those seeking a comfortable and functional camper. Right next to the kitchen is a large pull-out pantry to keep the whole gang fed.
Inside The Ezytrail Ceduna

You will be amazed at just how much Ezytrail has managed to pack into the interior layout and still maintain a good flow throughout. The bunks are immediately to the left as you enter, and they are surprisingly spacious. I would certainly sleep in the lower berth; however, I don’t know how I would get into the top bunk – but then again, I’m perhaps 4 times the size and nowhere near as flexible as the average kid!

The fully moulded en-suite with a premium shower, sink & chemical toilet, along with a ventilation hatch, is your next surprise. An ensuite in a 15’ off-road caravan – again, whodathunk?
Inside the Ezytrail MK11, you'll find a cozy dinette area on the driver's side, complete with a height-adjustable dining table and plush leatherette seating. Opposite, the kitchen is equipped with a twin-burner gas cooktop and sink, both featuring hinged glass lids that create a flat bench when not in use.
The kitchen is built atop a sturdy cabinetry base, offering ample storage with three drawers, dedicated storage for pots and pans, and a twin-door wardrobe. This thoughtful design creates a practical and comfortable space for meal preparation and relaxation.

Live Like A King!
I love a King-size bed as I’m a pretty big bloke. You really do need some good space in bed, particularly when the climate heats up. Overhead, we also find a reverse-cycle air conditioner and a premium overhead hatch. There are plenty of light and ventilation options with the vast array of large tinted windows.

Ezytrail has taken storage really seriously with overhead cabinets throughout, and cavities under the bed and seats. There’s also an impressive array of electronics that combine with the large water supply to keep you off-grid longer. Some features include a 24 inch digital ready HDTV with antenna, Battery Management System with voltage metre, water tank indicators & 50 amp mega fuse, 300W roof-mounted solar panels (optional), water tank level gauge with backlight, switch box with independently fused circuit board, 30 Amp automatic battery charger, plenty of 240 and 12 volt power including USB’s, Anderson plug with HD fridge power feed, 240V double pole socket to fridge slide compartment and a selection of LED mood lighting options.
The Wrap - Ezytrail Ceduna Review

The new Ceduna MK2 has put the icing on a very successful off-road caravan that will appeal to a wide variety of serious travellers. Furthermore, it comes in at a most attractive, family-friendly price. It is brought to you by a very well-known manufacturer with a great selection of dealers for backup and confidence. All these factors, plus the obvious fun component, ensure a successful purchase that will maintain its resale value.
I reckon that the beautiful coastal township of Ceduna would be an ideal destination for your first outing – what a way to go!
