AUSTRALIA’S biggest RV manufacturer, Jayco, has adopted customer feedback and gone back to the drawing board to redesign one of its is most popular caravans.

The Jayco CrossTrak 16-foot now comes with two floor plan options to suit both couples and families.

Features include a redesigned kitchen and improved shower facilities, better storage options such as sealed wet storage areas and a standard toolbox — all aimed at making the owner better prepared for their journey.

The latest CrossTrak also has enhanced departure angles with greater ground clearance to better suit off-grid adventures and more underbody protection.

Jayco national sales manager Scott Jones said the company always took time to understand what customers want in an RV.
“In relation to the CrossTrak, the brief was clear; more flexibility, more durability, further comfort and bold design,” he said.
“After many months of design, prototypes, and consumer consultation, we are proud to welcome this addition to our product range.

“Our products are built in Australia for Australian conditions and we will always stand for quality and great value. “
These new models are a great example of that”.

Jayco also launched two new motorised models, the Jayco Iveco Conquest and the Jayco Volkswagen Optimum.
The Conquest is regarded as a significant upgrade to the Conquest family of motorhomes.

Aimed at holidaymakers with a car license, the 26-foot, rear-wheel drive Iveco is an accessible and fuel-efficient option for travellers.

Mr Jones said that the Conquest has features that mean owners can have a quick and easy setup when arriving at their destination.

As an example, the bed doesn’t require a slide-out setup which means that it’s ready to use and owners can spend more time exploring their new surroundings.

It also comes with improved storage solutions, a separate shower and toilet, and the ability to flat tow (3.5-tonne) a small vehicle ensuring that tourers have the perfect home away from home.

The second motorised RV is the Jayco Volkswagen Optimum that adds to the campervan range by introducing the comfort and reliability of Volkswagen to the Optimum line.

This RV is powered by a fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine and has a spacious and cleverly designed interior with a dining area, combined shower and toilet and lounge/converter bed area.

Jayco said that it comfortably sleeps two and can transport up to four people, making it a versatile touring solution.
