A FOCUS on quality and the best in customer service and support has given Caravan Culture a loyal customer base with strong repeat business from happy holidaymakers.

The caravan specialist, which has two outlets — one in Rockingham, just south of Perth in Western Australia and the other in Clarence Gardens in Adelaide, South Australia — concentrates on selling vans from three premium Australian manufacturers.

Caravan Culture owner Sarah Deale started the company five years ago, coming from a long period in the automobile industry.

“When I started this business I only wanted to work with Australian manufacturers and only those who put an emphasis on quality,” she said.

“For customers it means they have the best choice in quality vans that will last and provide reliable service.”

The three brands are Regal Flair, Lyfe and Millard and all are made in Australia — two in Melbourne and Millard in Sydney — and are in the higher price bracket because of their focus on quality, leading-edge design and comprehensive, top-end features.

Royal Flair is a market leader in the design and fabrication of high quality caravans for the Australian market.

It waa started in 1975 and is renown for continuing to innovate and place emphasis on interior detailing.

In 2019 it won Best Aussie Van for Innovation with the Royal Flair Piazza 18’ with Sky-Deck. This innovative feature is a fold-away decking that sits above the drawbar, complete with an awning for sun and rain protection. This feature adds significantly to the outdoor space available and to the flexibility and fun-factor of the van.

One of Royal Flair’s most popular models is the Royal Flair Raptor which is designed for an adventure holiday.

It has the flexibility of being a trailer with a fold-up rear tray to fit a quad bike or two dirt bikes, with additional roof storage options for kayaks, dinghies and fishing equipment. The area above the drawbar has a large tool box.

There is also a spacious interior with storage areas, slide-out kitchen with twin gas bottles, internal and external shower facilities and two 210-watt solar panels.

Royal Flair is accredited by the Caravan Industry Association of Australia as the only manufacturer certified and endorsed by ISO 9001. It offers a vast range of models, all with a three-year structural warranty.

Lyfe RV is a custom recreational vehicle manufacturer based in Melbourne that specialises in creating high quality off-road caravans and hybrid RVs.

Ms Dealer said that the brand is very popular with people who seek holidays away from the main tourist centres.

She said that although Lyfe specialises in off-road vans, it does offer hybrid models that have all the advantages of an off-road van with the strength and capability of going away from the bitumen.

Lyfe recently introduced a new model, the Tribe, to the market that is ideal for holiday makers wanting a four-bed family van with all the latest features. It has a large outside kitchen area, a separate area for the children at the back along with large living areas.

Reflecting its high-end market, some available featurse include Miele washer/dryer units, Vitrifigo fridge, Corian benchtops and Cruisemaster air and disc brakes.

Caravan Culture also sells and supports the Millard brand which is a trusted and respected Australian caravan maker that has been in business for more then 75 years.

Millard, which is based in Sydney, offers caravan models in full vans, bunks, pop-top models and sliders.

All models come with a solid one-piece front-to-back composite roof which minimises the chance of water egress, an aluminium C-channel frame that has been pop riveted with high-tensile rivets that is strong and lightweight and the signature Millard hot dipped galvanised A-frame and chassis.

The company’s products are covered by a five-year structural warranty.
