Avida adds more polish to its luxury motorhome

ONE of Australia’s most luxurious motorhomes has just been upgraded, boosting the number of comfort and function features to place it firmly on any traveller’s wish list

.

In launching the updated version of the Esperance, Avida Motorhomes and Caravans listened to customers with some practical changes such as the slight narrowing of the motorhome, reducing it by 40mm to 2455mm to improve manoeuvrability while retaining interior space.

This change comes with Avida fitting an awning over the slide-out as standard equipment which keeps the roof clear of debris when parked near trees.

The Esperance motorhome is 7.8m long and is built on the IVECO 50C-180 or 50C-210 chassis with a 3.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

There are two models, both standard with a large, powered slide out, with the B-Type (B7842SL) having storage over the cabin and the C-Type (C7844SL) with a bed over the cabin.

Updates for the latest edition include new mouldings for a more prestigious look, and a larger shower now positioned with a corner section for the tap and shower hose.

Avida said that the shower head has been relocated and a new bathroom door added to optimise space and improving functionality.

Customers also have the option to upgrade to a sliding glass shower screen door for an added touch of elegance and convenience.

Another significant upgrade is a new outside entertainment unit with an all-in-one speaker that delivers superior sound quality for an immersive audio experience.

The outdoor living area has a large awning to relax under. With the new, slightly narrower body, customers can option this to an electric awning for added convenience.

Inside, an upholstered bedhead has been added to the C-Type models. Additionally, the luton bed storage compartments at each end of the bed have also been upholstered.

Further aesthetic changes include a revised step entrance using new material changed to sleek black, adding to the new black highlights outside the motorhome such as the fridge vents, water inlets, wheel arches and awnings.

These upgraded features in the new model add to the already well appointed Avida Esperance which includes a standard features such as 200-litre freshwater tanks, 100-litre grey water tank, solar, two smart TVs, oven, washer/dryer, diesel heater, tow bar and outside storage for a small BBQ with a BBQ fitting.
