Goldstream campers are a premium brand and this one lives up to expectations.
It is a 6 Berth Caravan with 2 slide out beds on either end and the drop down table that makes a smaller double bed also. I built a small folding wooden frame that changes the drop down table bed to a much better full size double bed. Instead of a small double bed sleeping long ways, with the timber frame, you sleep across and it is a much better size for adults (extra leg room). We added a hefty roll up double mattress to go on top of the cushions and it so much better to sleep on. The wooden frame goes with the caravan and the roll up mattress is an extra I will throw in.
This is the off road van with independent suspension, higher capaity water tanks, water heater and toilet / shower. We personally wanted to have the toilet / shower ensuite so we could go away from conventional caravan parks and be more independent on where we could go. Unfortunately we didn't get to use it in that way and have only had 3 or 4 trips since we bought it in 2021.
We bought it 2nd hand from Chapman Caravans in Nowra. We are the second owner. The first owner was elderly and didn't like setting-up the van. So it was near new when we bought it and with our 3 or 4 trips the van has had very little real use and is still in great condition.
Setting up the van, (after posotioning and levelling) involves winding the top up, pushing out the beds at either end, putting in the braces and looping the elastic cord under the hooks. fold down the door and clip it in, push up the toilet wall and done. We had a bit of a system with the family, the oldest child would wind it up, mum woud push out the beds while I put in the braces my daughter flicked the elastic into the hooks. As a team it is pretty fast.
The van fridge we find is a bit small, so we used to carry a separate plug in fridge and put it just outside the door. I have a new (unused), large camping fridge freezer I'll throw in if the asking price is met (no haggling).
Other extras include a floor matt for in front of the van and it really does help keep it cleaner.
Towing this van is like towing a large trailer. Because it winds down, it is not the big wind brake like most vans, it sits behind most 4WD's and is about the same height as the roof on the vehilce (4WD).
To tow, I set it up with the Hayman Reese bars and tow bar, the bars are the light duty ones, which is all that is required for this van. To be honest and it makes a huge difference when towing. The van sits very stable behind the car and you don't get that unstable feeling at the back. The Hayman Reese set-up isn't cheap, but again I will throw it in with the van, provided if we don't haggle on price.
I also have a caravan mover, one of the hand crank ones and it works on level concrete slab, but useless on a hill or grass.
It comes with 2 gas bottles, jack for levelling and a fold out table that site well in the front compartment. Hoses and power cord with safety switch, it is set-up ready to go, it just needs a new owner.
The van is in secure storage at Leumeah / Minto (near Campbelltown).

Our family bought time share and had the van at the same time to do the get away weekends / holidays. But we just didn't seem to have the time to do time share and the caravan, so the van is being let go.
