We planned travelling around various swathes of Australia with 2 adults and 1 child, not only at campsites but off-grid days at a time – needed a reliable flexible system, could tow easily on and off road, enough battery capacity, solar power, on board fresh water tanks, large grey water tank, plenty of appliance AC wall sockets and usb sockets, top-rated kitchen, heating and aircon, powered shower toilet and tap water. All in all, this is a superb setup, ready to go.
Includes a beautifully designed internal cabin with touch sensitive down lighting, AC power points, USB sockets, 19inch LED TV screen, stereo & speaker system with built-in DVD, shower and toilet cubicle with pressured water for toilet unit and piping-hot shower when needed; outstanding external pull-out kitchen with 3 gas hobs unused except for testing, stainless steel bench extension, pressured hot and cold water with kitchen sink, inbuilt cutlery storage drawers, next to pull-out extra-large 85L Eva Kool Fridge Freezer; plenty of storage internally and externally, external pressured shower; water heated by gas, superb cabin heating via small onboard, very quiet diesel heater that we used during 2 cold winter nights; Dometic aircon, 2 x Cirocco gimbal-mounted fans; under the van are 2 x large fresh water tanks (200L total); 75L large grey water tank; toilet cassette system; D035 advanced hitch system.
This caravan is powered by either direct mains or onboard battery (2 x 100amp deep-cycle AGM), charged by 3 x roof mounted solar panels (300W total) or via the Andersen plug connected to towing vehicle or via Household power point via Amphibian adaptor; 2000W power Inverter.
Extras to standard version: 85L Eva Kool Fridge Freezer; Aircon Dometic; large 75L Grey water tank; DO35 Coupling; unused caravan full cover; sturdy wind-sheet with stays and pegs, that perfectly fits the side-awning; large breathable ground sheet; mains power to van lead with extension (35m total); Amphibian adaptor (House AC to Caravan) keeps AGM batteries topped up in best condition for long storage periods; mains water to van pressure hose with couplings; extra pegs with rubber mallet.
Only a sudden unexpected family situation scuppered our early adventurous plans - this outstanding caravan is ready for new owners and new adventures.
